Disk Space

• Web files and all uploaded files
• Mail boxes including inboxes, trash boxes, custom created boxes, attachments, etc.
• Statistic information which will store in /tmp folder of the account and will use to create usage information by statistic software including Webalizer, Analog and AWStats
• Mailing lists including lists information, subscribed users and archives
• Databases including MySQL and PostgreSQL data
• Password information of password protected folders

If you install FrontPage Extensions based on size of your web site you will need 30% to 50% more disk space than you calculate.

Note: Having enough free disk space is so important, If your account goes over disk quota many services will not work correctly, this will include:

• Mail system, You will not be able to receive any email
• CGI and PHP scripts that use databases or want to modify or create some sort of files.
• Databases could currant

Therefore we recommend you to keep enough free disk space all the time.

You can check the total and free disk space in hosting control panel. Login and check it at the left side under "General Account Information" box:

There are two useful parts in control panel regarding disk space and disk usage:

"Disk Usage Report" will give you a report on disk usage on each folder, Disk Cleanup is a cleanup utility which purge "Trash" files and emails, It can also purge unwanted statistic information and disable them if you don't need a specific statistic program.
