Dreamweaver 4: Inside Macromedia |
| Whether you are a seasoned or beginning web developer, you can bring your expertise to the next level with Dreamweaver 4! The authors have taken the mystery out of professional web site design and production by introducing you to the most frequently used features and functions within the context of "hands-on" learning. Practice Exercises take you step-by-step through the learning process of working with text, graphics, libraries, frames, tables, forms, links, behaviors, layers, animation, and other frequently used Dreamweaver functions. The book contains many screen illustrations to help you "see" what is being discussed and created. The Application Chapters will challenge you to combine the knowledge and techniques acquired from several previous chapters and apply your newly developed skills to create a "real-world" Dreamweaver web site. The book also includes a CD-ROM containing all the supporting files necessary for exercises within the book.

| A+ | Rating: | | Extremely well written with all the relevant topics, Dreamweaver 4 (Inside Macromedia Series) is useful for beginners as well as experienced users that want to sharpen certain skills or learn new program features. Some technical authors know the content matter, but are not able to instruct well. They may skip important information or steps and leave you hanging or figuring out instructional errors. For anyone that has suffered through less than perfect technical writing, Dreamweaver 4 (Inside Macromedia Series) is a welcome change. It's clear that being written by experienced Dreamweaver developers with advanced degrees in Education gives this book its leading edge. The book is concise, well-organized and effective. It addresses different learning styles and techniques and is full of technical and web publishing tips that may take years to acquire on your own. If you want to learn (or learn more) Dreamweaver, I recommend this book. | | Total Votes: 8, Helpful Votes: 8, Date: 2001-12-14 | | |
